The Jewish Community Foundation of New Mexico has 92 funds totaling $8.8 million in assets under management as of 7/31/2023. Most of our assets are pooled with the Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona (JPSA) which has over $110 million in assets managed by SEI. SEI is a registered investment advisor and a leading asset manager with more than 440 clients worldwide, including 25 community foundations.
The chair of our Foundation's Finance & Investment Committee is a member of JPSA’s Investment Committee, enabling our Foundation to have a voice in and closely monitor investment decisions.
As of 7/31/2023, asset allocation for the balanced investment pool is 34% Equity, 26% Fixed Income and 40% Alternatives and Other.
Total Net Portfolio Returns (balanced pool) — YTD 7/31/2023: 7.2%, 3 Years: 7.8%, 5 Years: 5.8%.
JPSA also provides us with recordkeeping, reporting and strategic guidance. This partnership allows us to operate efficiently and helps us maximize benefits for our donors and organization partners.
